ಕನ್ನಡ ನುಡಿ ಸುಮಾರು ೨೦೦೦ ವರುಷಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸ , ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ನುಡಿಯೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಅರಸಿ ವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿ ನುಡಿಯಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗಬಾರದೆಂಬ ಸದುದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಶಿವ ಗೌಡರ್ ಅವರು 'ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ' ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದರು.ಇದು ವಿಶ್ವದ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.ಅಮೆರಿಕ, ಯುರೋಪ್, ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯಾ ಮತ್ತು ಏಷ್ಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ 80 ಕನ್ನಡ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಕಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. 1600 ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆದ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಕನ್ನಡ ಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಜಾಗತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುವವರನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ .ಕನ್ನಡ ಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ, ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಹಂತದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿ ಪಾಂಡಿತ್ಯ ಸಾಧಿಸುವ ತನಕ, ವಿದ್ಯುನ್ಮಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಕವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹಂತ ಹಂತವಾಗಿ ಕಲಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.

considered a world heritage language. Founded with noble intentions, the Kannada Academy organization, led by Shiva Gowder aims to ensure that Kannadigas living abroad and their
children, born and raised in foreign lands, do not lose touch with their mother tongue. As the largest
network of independent Kannada schools globally, the Kannada Academy operates across America,
Europe, Australia, and Asia, with over 80 Kannada schools and learning centers. These institutions are supported by a dedicated team of 1600 trained volunteer teachers.

Mysore. It also offers teacher-led special sources for adult learners. KA is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools and Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The mission of the Kannada Academy is to promote Kannada language proficiency on a global scale. Their educational approach systematically teaches children from elementary levels to mastery.
The school ensures effective learning through eight progressive stages:
Level 1: Swara Balla-1 - Build basic vocabulary.
Level 2: Swara Balla-2 – Continues to build basic vocabulary with grammar concepts.
Level 3: Akshara Balla-1- Introduction to joins, ability to write simple stories and short essays.
Level 4: Akshara Balla-2 - Introduction to Compounds and ability to read and analyze poems.
Level 5: Pada Balla-1 - Builds on the experience gained in reading, writing, and on the previous levels.
Level 6: Pada Balla -2 - Builds on the experience gained in reading, writing, and on the previous levels.
Level 7: Jana-1 - Introduction to Karnataka’s land, river, forest, sports, dress, arts and culture
Level 8: Jana-2 - This book introduces readers to the political history of the state of Karnataka. The
history of Karnataka starts with the Mourayan Empire and runs through all the dynasties that ruled
Karnataka for over 2000 years.
Kasturi Kannada School, branch of Kasturi Kannada Sangha is operating under the Kannada Academy, was founded in May 2021. It serves as a vibrant hub for children to immerse themselves in learning the Kannada language, thanks to the
dedication of volunteer teachers.
