Kasturi Youth Award
One of the key visions of the 2024–25 Kasturi Executive Committee is to engage youth with the Kasturi organization and help them embrace our culture. They are our future, and it’s essential to involve them more in everything we do. As part of this initiative, we launched the Kasturi Youth Committee to keep our youth engaged during events and to plan community service activities.
Another major initiative is the introduction of the Kasturi Youth Award, created to recognize the achievements and talents of Kasturi youth across various categories.

Kasturi Youth Award 2025
This year initiative aims to recognize and encourage young Kannadigas who demonstrate exceptional vision, creativity, and a commitment to preserving and advancing the richness of our culture.
Essay Prompt :"As a young Kannadiga, how can you use technology to keep the richness of the Kannada language and Karnataka's culture alive and vibrant for the next generation?"
Award Criteria (Total 100 Points) Essays will be judged anonymously by an impartial panel on the following criteria. Focus on originality and practicality to achieve a high score.
1. Interpretation of the Theme and Content (30 Points)

- How effectively the essay integrates both Kannada culture/language and technology.
- The clarity and appreciation shown for the richness of the culture and the potential of the proposed solution.
- The creativity of the technological solution proposed. Generic ideas will score lower; we seek novel, specific, and imaginative plans.
- A strong, unique, and committed voice from the author.
- How realistic and achievable the proposed solution is for a young person or small team.
- Clear organization, with a defined introduction, body of argument, and compelling conclusion.
Integrity Guidelines (Strictly Enforced)
We celebrate original thinking and individual effort. Submissions must adhere to the following integrity guidelines:
1.NO AI Tools: The essay must be the student’s own work. Any content generated or paraphrased using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) will result in immediate disqualification.
2.Originality: Ideas must be original to the student. Any direct copying or plagiarism from external sources will disqualify the submission.
3.Anonymity: Please DO NOT include your name or any identifying information within the essay text itself. Only submit your personal details via the designated form/email body.

Kasturi Youth Award 2024
This year, we chose to honor youth who have demonstrated outstanding community service through the arts, social work, or cultural contributions.
